I Was A Waiter In A London Restaurant Making Just £50 A Week…
Hi, I am Sal Abdin and not too long ago, I used to be a waiter in a small Indian restaurant in Wembley, North London working six days a week from 10 in the morning till midnight and earning just £50 a week. I shared a small room with three other staff members above the restaurant.
On my day off each week, I would sleep in until 1pm, then go into central London to watch a film, have some Kentucky Fried Chicken, mess around the West End and then catch the last train back to the restaurant ready to do the same thing for another week.
I wasn’t satisfied with my ‘lot’. I was restless and felt that I should be doing more and achieving more in my life. Between then and now something happened to me that compelled me to take action in order to change my life and my situation.
Today, I and thousands of other people across the world earn large incomes using the power of the Internet and a home based online business.
I have no unique ability or any special qualifications. I was great at school but I dropped out of university. However, I have never let that stop me.
You see, in my view, education is NOT the same thing as intelligence. There are many educated idiots in the world today… you may even know one or two. I know I do. But there are also highly intelligent (and very rich) people who dropped out of school or college. There is NO law which requires you to be educated before you can become wealthy.
Anyway, I just got on with it and sold life assurance, mortgages, papyrus paintings and advertising space.
I farmed potatoes, strawberries, founded an ISP, became rich in the Internet bubble of 2001 and lost it all in the Internet bubble of 2001.
I bought 1,000 acres of land, lost 1,000 acres of land, traded in gold bullion, speculated currency markets, brokered Certificates Of Deposits and… waited on tables in Indian restaurants!
I can paint and I can draw but I am not really an artist. I can write and publish comment but I am not really an author. I have marvellous ideas for all sorts of great things but I am not any smarter or any more clever than the next man.
I’m just an ordinary guy who learned how to make money online with a home-based Internet business.
Making money online is not a talent, it’s a SKILL, and just like any other skill, you can learn it, you can develop it and you can master it! And, more importantly, anyone can do it!

My Journey Towards Wealth And Freedom
I was literally at the bottom. I was on the ropes, heavily in debt and I had very little money. Big, ugly, rough men used to knock on my door demanding money. I was afraid to open letters and I was afraid to answer the telephone.
I owed money to relatives and if they visited my home I would stay away until they left. I was humiliated and shamed many times by many people. Fear constantly stalked me and I found it hard to sleep at night. However, I didn’t quit and I didn’t give up. I was on the floor but I got up. I was desperate to find a way to make money and make it fast BUT I had no money to buy a shop or a franchise or to even rent an office. I didn’t have a specialist talent that I could tap into and offer as a service but I was determined to find a way to become financially free.
I knew that I could NEVER do that in a job working for someone else. It had to be a business where I was in total control and a business that worked for me and not the other way around.
I already knew that the Internet was the perfect medium to link into to achieve my financial goals and ambitions. I was filled with enthusiasm and hope because I realised that the Internet offered potentials that no other route could. The Internet is a 24-hours a day shop window to over a billion people who could be potential customers.
And the absolute best way to reach these customers was through Online Marketing. I understood that if I could master and learn effective online marketing then I would never have to worry about money again.
Although at the time I had no money, I was willing to put in the time and give maximum effort to learn everything about online marketing and how to apply it effectively and quickly to any service or product.
Inspiration Or Desperation
People act because of inspiration or desperation. You’re either inspired or you are desperate! I was in despair and I was desperate so I acted.
I really had no other choice so I started on a journey of discovery with many highs, as well as lows and experiencing many mistakes and wrong turns. I began working from a small attic bedsit apartment with just my cellphone, a 4 year-old laptop and a mobile connection to the Internet that kept cutting out.
I looked into various Internet business opportunities and while some were good others were just a waste of time. It can be difficult to distinguish the real from the scam or downright criminal.
However one business opportunity stood out and over a few days of studying this company and opportunity I found myself ‘bonding’ with it. That’s to say I felt comfortable with it and the people behind it. I liked the products and services which I believed that people worldwide would benefit from and participate in. In short I felt I could operate this online business and this opportunity to create wealth.
I engrossed myself on learning the techniques and processes for making money on the Internet. I was in deep and serious financial problems so I came with an open mind, determined to grasp quickly the methods and systems to making money online.
I didn’t want to re-invent the wheel… I just wanted to copy the activities of the guys who were making big money online and do the same for myself.
I followed the marketing formulas I was taught and I put these methods into action quickly and faithfully to generate a large, almost passive income stream for myself and my family.
The marketing methods that I learned and applied are not complicated or difficult, infact they’re surprisingly simple and based on common sense but most importantly very very effective.
